Carlisle’s experienced under 10 players, playing as Carlisle Blues, came out on top again to maintain their unbeaten record this season. But a tough Cockermouth side made things difficult, and secured the honours against Carlisle’s Purple and Yellow teams.
Bruce Spencer shone for the blues capping some great defence with two tries. For the purples Luke Finney continued his excellent start to the season and showed great aggression in attack and defence. And for the Carlisle Yellow Team the excellent Gregory Baines tackled like a demon and showed some great work in attack.
Special mention for Jack Harrison who became the world’s most reluctant try scorer whilst guesting for the Cokermouth Wasps. The carlisle squad continues to grow in numbers and skill levels - promising much for the season ahead.
