What a difference a week makes!! What a great performance with the team playing as a team, both forwards and backs getting their fair share of tries. Despite a few fumbling errors the ball retention, rucking and phase play by the forwards was excellent.

The ball handing by the backs was excellent, they passed accurately running onto the ball at speed. The first 15 mins was hard fought with both sides defending well but Macca’s blistering try after 15 minutes set the tone of the game with Jordan scoring soon afterwards. Macca converted one. Keswick scored a fortuitous try, due to poor tackling, just before half time, converted.

2 minutes into the seond half and Mathew scored a comfortable try, converted by Macca and 6 minutes later, Jordie got a well deserved try, not converted. 5 minutes later JT did what JT does and barged his way over for a try from 7m out, converted by Macca. 20 minutes into the game Jack also showed some aggression and drove over for a one handed show off try!, not converted. Keswick scored a good running try (converted) by swift ball control but the game was finished off by Ewan also scoring a running try under the posts, converted by Macca.

JT actually held onto the ball in the maul and made it available, Alex Clarke actually passed the ball!! what a day! There was no single man of the match as the coaches felt that it was a magnificent effort by all, names mentioned for playing well – Liam, JT, Tom (Armstrong), Kinsey, but I must stress all deserved praise.
