Liam Nicholls has moved on from Carlisle and next season will be player / coach at Netherhall.

Liam has given the Carlisle club his all during his three seasons at Warwick Road, and we are more than grateful for his unstinting contribution both on and off the field.
His “day job” is becoming increasingly more demanding and the travel three times a week to the city, was becoming harder to accommodate in his busy schedule.
Understandably, he wanted to retain an interest in the game at the sharp edge and the opportunity to take over the reins at the Maryport club allowed him to that, with a big reduction in mileage and travelling time.
Good luck in your new role Liam, and you know you will always be welcome at Carlisle.
