After this home defeat Carlisle find themselves in a real relegation dogfight.  Over the last few weeks they have looked as though they were set to climb the table!  The, two successive defeats and they find themselves back in the pressure cooker!

The city side now have six games remaining to redeem themselves, and with four of them at home against teams that are also looking for an escape clause, they are likely to be tense affairs as was the one against the Old Crocs.

In fairness though, there was perhaps not too great a gap between the two sides  –  as the scoreline suggests!  The main difference was, that the visitors were more imaginative with the ball when in possession.
