As near neighbours, Wigton deserve our congratulations for clinching the North Lancs & Cumbria League title after their convincing victory at Furness on 3rd April.
Wigton, who have lost only one league game so far this season will now play at Level 6, and hopefully we will retain that status for next time round too.
Whether we will be in the same league remains to be seen.
