KIRKBY LONSDALE 12 pts CARLISLE 29 pts
After disposing of Penrith and Workington in the quarter and semi finals respectively, Carlisle visited Underley Park having lost the choice of venue to the toss of a coin.
Despite a swirling breeze both sides produced some good rugby with Kirkby Lonsdale drawing first blood.
Carlisle gradually took a grasp of the match and they never looked in danger of ceding the result.
The game was good advert for 2nd team rugby with a goodly crowd, many from Carlisle, enjoying the entertainment!
