Congratulations to Alan Tiffen who was elected President of Cumbria RFU at their AGM on Friday, 30th July
The responsibilities of office are very tiring. He's only been in office for a few short days, and already he needs a nap!
He has been the county secretary for several years and the picture indicates that he was ready for a good rest!
Alan, who lives in the Stanwix area of the city will be in office for a year.
We wish him an enjoyable and productive term in office.
At the same meeting of the county, John Owen (lately President of the RFU) and Wille Mounsey (former Cumbria President) were both elected as Life Members of the Cumbria RFU.
