North 1 East League
Saturday, 25th September 2010

The season is only four weeks old and it seems like a lifetime if you are a supporter of the Warwick Road club.  Four defeats is not a very good start to the season, although to be fair, Carlisle deserved something out of the first three games.  That said though, they certainly didn’t merit any return out of this dismal performance on their first ever visit to their hosts.

Cleck” turned the heat on from the off and Carlisle were almost constantly under pressure from a side that, on the day were much better.  The Carlisle pack was almost inert, seemingly oblivious to the plight they found themselves in.  Lacking in imagination and craft they were always second best.

Down 23 pts to 8 pts at the break, they did manage to claw back some pride in the second period but it was never going to be enough to save the day.
