Members of the club are asked to keep an eye out for the troublesome element that misuse our facilities from time to time.

There have been a number of incidents on minor damage in recent weeks and there is a need to be alert to the fact.

Whilst not asking members to put themselves at risk, it would be helpful if appropriate steps could be taken at the time, if necessary by calling the police (if they have anyone to attend!).

The groundsman, Ray Grieve, has lovingly worked on the fields over the last twelve months and the excellent condition of the pitches is testament to his skill and dedication.

Talking of pitches  – players are asked not to discard water bottles, tape and other unwanted material on the fields.  Apart from causing expensive damage to our maintenance equipment, shredded bottles may leave unseen shards of glass or plastic in the grass, causing injury dangers to players.

Consideration is being given to the possibility of adding additional CCTV system in an attempt to reduce misuse of the facilities.

More in due course.
