Carlisle U13’s managed to get their second win of the season, with a tight game against Morpeth at Warwick Road.

Both teams were evenly matched and Carlisle showed the same determination and spirit that had carried them through their two recent defeats, but this time persistant counter rooking, solid passing and driving forward meant they were able to put the visitors under pressure.

A determined drive by flanker Guy Graham from the rook saw him force his way over to score a well earned 1st half try.  Struan Kyle converted.

Brave tackling especially in the second half prevented Morpeth levelling the score and it was a very happy Carlisle team at the final whistle.

Result:            7 v 0
Half time score:        7 v 0
