A Game of Rugby!….where?

Rugby folk are getting more than a little irritated with the continuing spell of bad weather that is preventing matches being played.  But, Carlisle is not the only place affected  –  it seems (apart from the odd match) that it is a nationwide problem.

Two match days have gone by now with vacant pitches and it seem probable that 11th December is in serious doubt.

In the hope we might get some half decent weather during the festive period, two Crusaders games have been re-arranged.  Doubtless, they would appreciate more support than they are normally used to.

BANK HOLIDAY TUESDAY  –  28TH DEC away at MACCLESFIELD (league)
There will be room on the team coach for supporters.  Buy your tickets now  – don’t be disappointed.

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY – 3rd Jan. home v SEDGELEY PARK (cup)

Both these rearranged games are listed to kick off at 2.15pm.

The Crusaders’s skipper, John Bowman, said:
“It would be great to have some support on the touch line at both matches.

We guarantee to give you some excitement.

Get off your a***s and let’s have some real encouragement.”
