Hopefully, Saturday 5th February will see a full programme of rugby for the first time in a while.
The 1st XV are away at Morpeth, and they (Morpeth) will be looking for revenge after their drubbing by 53 pts to 5 pts at Warwick Road earlier in the season.
By their own standards, Morpeth are having more of a mediocre season than are we.
So, the stage is set for a tough battle!

The Colts XV are to travel with the senior squad for their return league fixture with Morpeth Colts.
Anyone wanting to travel on the team coach should meeting at the club at 11.00 am.
Last week’s postponed match will now be played at Warwick Road on 7th May.
Entertain Kendal at Warwick Road in the University of Salford NW Leagues Division 1. The city second string will be looking to improve on their oputstanding victory earlier in the season at Mint Bridge. The Crusaders have had a good season so far in these new league surroundings, confirming that the decision to enter these leagues was the right one.
On a sad note though, hooker and captain, John Bowman will shortly be leaving for pastures new.
John joins the Royal Marines early in March and we wish him well in his new career, and assure him that his “strength” will always be welcome at Warwick Road.
The Hornets are scheduled to entertain St Benedict’s in the Cumbris Shield League.
In their last meeting at Mirehouse, they buzzed around the home try line all afternoon and came away with a 94 pts to 17 pts victory.
More of the same will do in the home fixture!
