Cougar’s Halloween Night
November 3, 2009 by admin
The Cougars Halloween Quiz was a success for 3rd year running! Eighty-four contestants took part in the annual Halloween quiz at the club on Friday 30th October.
Burbush’s of Penrith again donated award wining pies which were much appreciated at the interval, and Martyn and Melanie attended the event.
First prize, a meal for four at Toby Carvery, was won by Philippa Bell (Vice Captain), Penny Leck, Rosie Tyson and Jenny Royston. The fancy dress was as creative and varied as ever ranging from the incredible hulk, a Ninja turtle, a few cats and witches, strange gouls and Dorothy from the wizard of oz (???)
The Cougars would like to thank Belinda Lloyd for all her hardwork and effort in organising the event again. The night raised £500 for club funds.
